In progress Is there no HTML for newsletters with the basic package ?

Post by azwiz July 7th 2018, 3:29 am

I rarely send a newsletter these days . But I do like to do a delayed sending for birthdays . With a graphic creative card . It looks like I won't be doing that anymore either .
Rich text with HTML Does not seem to work for me any longer .

That doesn't seem like a feature that should cost money . Should be standard these days .

The Simple Text has been obsolete for years . In fact I have never had to use it .

So basically if in forumotion . I enter the future by downgrading to the past .

    Is this correct ?

Choice a method: text format or HTML format: Reserved for forums having the Is there no HTML for newsletters with the basic package ? 312592876 package, the HTML allows you to format your message as you wish: bold, italic, colors, images,... It is an enriched format composed of code, which you can write simply thanks to the integrated editor. On the contrary, the simple text format is plain text without any formatting. An email address or site URL will be automatically transformed into a link by the email client receiving the email in this text format.

Forums in free packages can't send more than 2 newsletters per 30-day rolling period. This limit is increased to 4 newsletters per 30-day period for forums that have chosen the package and to 8 for forums that have subscribed to the package.

This is not a good deal .
I am now restricted as many others are .
These features are not valuable monetarily . But are necessary in basic " newsletter " communication .
If one just needs to send a basic email . They will use their email .

The " newsletter " feature would always require HTML . Therefore should be included at the very least .

We understand you don't like the new system and we are sorry for this but we have to make money to keep our free host open to you all.

Times are hard right now for all forum hosts and without this income we could close down and I'm sure you understand that we don't want to shut our doors but the truth is we all need to make money t keep things going and this will never change.

Sadly the packs are here to stay and the price will not change.

    Sorry.
