File Folder

Is it anyway I upload my script to folder of my website so I can script like this

Code:

<script type="text/javascript" src="/jscripts/abc.js"></script>


that means I upload abc.js to jscripts folder

In order to edit or upload the files/folders into your forum, you would need the Forumotion database, with its FTP access, so no, that would not be possible to do on your own as Forumotion doesn't offer its database by any mean. You will have to upload the code/file into an external server in order to do what you're asking

That 's not a good idea, Forummotion should allow to do it, it allows to upload pictures so why not

You can agree with that or not, but the truth is that, unfortunately, we can't really do anything about it . However, if you would like an option like this to be in Forumotion, you can always suggest it in its section so it can be evaluated, and who knows, maybe in a future implemented

What exactly are you trying to do?  I mean by the JavaScript.

put accents for my own language, it 's working fine with external server but I want to put on forummotion server better than external server that is not stable

Yes, That 's what I like but seems Forummotion does not allow to upload script file

Have you searched for a JavaScript that will do this?  You can add it to the JavaScript Management in your AP.

I tried already, it did not work . Maybe , the script is too long ?

Then the best advice we can give is to remain external. However, you can't create a folder in your forum as I already told you before, so you'd have to pick an external server in order to do that.

Well do you feel we answered the question? Thats what solved is. Unfortunately as my much as anyone would like to have access to database forumotion will never allow it and it has been that way for years, so unfortunately I don't foresee what your asking happening anytime in the future.
