In progress Terms and Conditions - Paypal

    Post by teliosmetonma1 Mon 10 Sep - 17:14

    Hi everyone,
i would like to be informed for terms and conditions regarding montly payments. More specific :
    a) I would like to pay on a monthly basis via Paypal
    b) I would like to be prompt before payment (on a monthly basis) and when agree, payment must be completed
    c) What is the official process if i would like to stop payents (permanent) ? How i will be ensured that you will nor received monthly charge forever ?

Finally, the most secure way is to have a specific date every month for the payment.

Is there any specific guide or policy to read for the below questions ?

    Thank you

    Hello!
Are you requesting this information regarding your Forumotion account or your PayPal Account?

    Regards,

The payment's will come out of your account on the same day as it was setup on your ACP so if you started today the 10th then it will come out on the 10th of every month no matter what day of the week it is.

payments come out every month for as long as you want them to
it will not stop at the end of the year it will carry on until you stop it in your ACP and paypal.

Thank you @Jucarese for your reply. In truth i have not understand correctly how i can been ensure that i can stop anytime i want my payments. All i want is to pay every month my subscription and not automatically charged every month so in case i want to stop i haven't any problem. When you say Paypall have prior approval what you mean ? Is any option in my Paypal account that i can use to have an approval before payment ? Thank you in advance

    Hello @teliosmetonma1,
So how a per-approved payment works on PayPal is an agreement is made between you, PayPal, and the merchant which in this case would be Forumotion. Every month on a specific date the funds will be taken from your preferred funding source (bank, card, or PayPal Balance) and then it will pay the merchant (Forumotion). However, there is no way to have it set to ask you for approval before sending it, it will automatically happen each month on the day that you start the billing agreement. For more information you can check the PayPal Help Center by searching for Billing Agreement or call them or chat with their live chat team.
    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    James

As I have already said it will come out automaticity from your paypal account and NO notifications will be sent to you each month it will just come out of your account.

You have the right to stop payments at any time but you must give at least 2 working days for this to stop the payment.

our systems are all linked to paypal and once you stop the payment on your ACP it will send a Stop file to paypal and you will get a Email from paypal to say the payments have stopped.

Another way they can do this is they can access their PayPal account and just cancel the Billing Agreement it makes with Forumotion so when Forumotion attempts to pull the funds from PayPal it will just be denied, that can be done at any time.

Just wanted to add that bit Smile

It is NOT advised to do it this way unless you have already stopped it on your ACP first.

clear when you make any payment by monthly or annual paypal any subscription, paypal points it in a section that says payment with prior approval,If I do not remember bad, you are looking in the configuration of the account in payments ,where you can unsubscribe at any time.
