Page Freezes

First topic message reminder :

Hi,
I have never seen this happen and I have no idea what to do..Our Gift Fairy thread freezes & we can't use it.
I am sending you a Print screen to show you what is happening..It is very frustrating:This is day 2 of it happening & it's happening to all my members just on this one page.

We are referring to her signature.  You can get it from your AP.

One of you instructed me As Owner to go into Debby's Profile & delete her Avatar & her Sig tag from the Profile..

I did that, so there is nothing to bring to you? Is that what you mean?

Your problem should be fixed then. The page should not freeze anymore. If it does, that means that there probably are some 2img.net images on other parts of the page.

The problem is when your members use photobucket

TY, I copied that over to Debby..She is so discouraged that she wanted to quit making tags..She still is having trouble, so as Menim says..there must be more of those links on her or the pages..This is a mess..I thank you for all your help as you are keeping me off the ledge..
It is as if we have a VIRUS on all our pages & I am afraid members will start leaving from all the hassle!
Can you see where her bad links are, as I cannot, so I can't delete them ot help Debby??

Btw, Debby has no reason to be discouraged, its not her fault.

The only way I will know if there is still a problem is if when Debby gets off work, she posts on the 1st page of the messed up gift fairy thread or imstalls a warped Sig Tag from Photo Bucket...She is the one apparently with the 2img.net link.

She is sooo upset with losing the tags she posted on Pg 2 of the Gift Fairy thread yesterday, when all this started.

PS FYI Debby deleted the whole Gift Fairy Thread before I could tell her to just delete her Sig tags, so you may want to go into the ARCHIVES & go to PAGE 2 In THE JANUARY GIFT FAIRY THREAD...

She put them in the Archives on the bottom of the front page if you scroll down.. Then once you are in there, look for the January Gift Fairy Thread & go to the 2nd page..
I can't get it to you as it freezes...Grrrr

I didn't ask to me made an admin, nor did I ask to be made a mod. While you can do that and I would be able to work much faster and easier, you can just as well make the topic visible to everyone.

The ranks should not be a problem. There were a few images on 2img that were not loading. They were all in one of Debby's posts, which I edited. The content of the post was this:

I replaced it with test and everything loads just fine for me. Is it ok on your side as well?

She should make sure that the images she is posting on the forum actually load. Basically, before pasting a link to an image, she should load that link separately in another tab to see if it actually works. If this kind of problem happens again, you can use firefox and probably edge(which will not freeze the page) to be able to edit the post.

's in there are wrong. That was the reason why the page was lagging. Trying to close too many image tags without the even opening anywhere. Make sure you all use the Switch Editor Mode button before you post anything to see if everything work fine to avoid these kind of issues.

She posts alot, so how can she post them all twice? Can she just see if there is a 2img.net link in the post if it gives her trouble?
I will give her your message..I don't know if she'll understand it cuz I'm not sure I do!

If she switches the editor mode, it should show her whether the information she added will appear or not once the message is posted. Or even better, try to use the preview button to see the result before posting. That way, if this freezing problem will occur, it will happen upon previewing the post as well.

The Preview button sounds good..I do that all the time..We really appreciate all your Support Help...
We never had that happen before & Debby has been posting that amount of tags for over 5 years, so this puzzled us..
Is it more the amt of tags posted rather than the 2img.net link?

The ammount doesn't matter. Some of the pictures she posted were not valid, they were simply not loading. She can continue posting as many images as she wants.
