Description of problem

The founder of our forum is no longer available. Needless to say, this means I am unable to sign in as him. Is there any way I may be made the founder? If not, is there any way to migrate the forum to a new one where I am the founder?

Condition 1 - EZT EpicZ / Dave (EpicZ) has been absent from the forum for a minimum of seven years.  The original forum username that I knew him as--EZT EpicZ--has been deleted.  I believe I was the one who did that and cannot recall why I did that.  Probably because he could not recall his email address / password for that username and registered with the new one, Dave (EpicZ).  Here are screenshots.


Condition 2 - There are no other active administrators other than myself.

I have received your PM. However, the founder of the forum has connected very recently. Therefore we will need a post visible to guests where he clearly expresses he would like to give the foundation of the forum to another user/admin. Otherwise we are sorry but we can't do anything.

The founder has to be gone for 6 months and 1 day before we will change ownership.   If the founder has logged in recently, you need to contact him/her.  The founder can give you the information for the founder account on the forum and the information for the forum's utilities.

The founder has not logged on in years. I sent the screenshot of his username. I have admin rights. I logged in recently, not the founder. If the founder signed in recently, I would not be bothering you.

Sadly you used the founders tools so we do not know if he has logged in or not you should not even have the founders account

We will not hand over the account to you as you already have it if you logged in as the founder.

I thought there is a difference between being an administrator and the founder? Is that not true?

I cannot access the Founder Tools. I enter the forum's URL and admin password, then authenticate. I receive "The login and the password you specified are wrong." How do I get that corrected?

There is a founder had all the tools to use templates and the admin had only basic tools
The name Admin was the name our system makes for the founder when the forum is made.

The founders name is Admin.
you can make members admin's but they will only see part of the forum ACP

You are breaking the rules if you are logging in as the name Admin as this is the founders account and not just a admin.

You should not have this account unless you are the maker of the forum from day one.

The thing i would like to know is how you got this data in the first place.

We can not and will not give you this help on the founders tools YOU ARE NOT THE FOUNDER you are just a admin using the founders account.

The founder, Dave (EpicZ), gave me that role. If rules were broken, it was not on my part. Once he, Dave (EpicZ), decided to go on a sabbatical, he gave that information to me.

What we consider to be the founder is the user account /u1 on the forum. On the forum you linked us to that is: http://eztmotorsport.forumotion.com/u1 .

Now while that user account continues to be signed in to (was signed in today as well), we can not change it over. Now if you can get in contact with the founder you can have them give you access to the tools, but other then that there is really nothing we can do for you about this unless 6 months and 1 day goes by without that account signing in.
