Admin color is not the same that is given to it

Description of problem

Hello!

I would like to ask for help; #015873 is the color for the Administrator group, but something happened and it is colored in another group's color.
Can someone help me fix it?

Try to change the Administrators group status from Hidden to Closed group, and check mark on option "Color Group Members"

did you add the member to the group you want from admin panel..user and groups..user management..modify a user

The group color will only work on groups that are not hidden.  Also if you are in more than one group, the color of your username will depend on the order of the groups.

I had the same issue. I am using the phpbb2 as well. I tried everything, then I finally found what I needed to activate the colours of ranks.

In Users & Groups, select Users Options and check if you have got Colour Usernames marked as yes. Mine were marked as no at default and I didn't realize, well either that or someone I previously gave access to the AP messed about with it. Now my colour is working on Admins names in their profiles.

Just another possibility to check why the rank colours aren't working for you
