Solved Member has problem with forum use

Post by JaneDoe Mon Jun 29 2020, 02:23

Hi I have a member who is experiencing problems using my forum. They say the quote buttons don't work and that the toolbar/edit buttons in the reply box is not there.

They are in Web Version. Using an Android tablet and Firefox browser. I have found a topic which seems to indicate issues with Firefox. As I do not have firefox I cannot test it. I would like to enquire whether this is the most likely cause of their issues. And what I can do to help them.

When you say web version, do you mean a PC?

I just mean they have their android tablet set to the web version on the forum rather than the mobile version. They are only accessing the forum on their tablet not a computer Very Happy

Ok.  So the issue is only on mobile devices?   Since I do not have one, I can not test it.

Well I don't think so as most of my members view the forum via their phones and tablets. Again most have their devices set to Web Version and are not having this issue. So this is why I wondered if it is the browser they are using.

But yes I do not know if the same issue would be present if she was using firefox on a computer rather than a tablet.

    Hello,

    Could be related to :
    - Browser
    - OS Operating system and number of release (ie Androïd 6.0 or iOS 11.2)
    - Antivirus software.
