Can I claim ownership of this forum? https://vgchat.forumotion.net/ The admin hasn't been on in more than a year, and I'd desperately like to mod it.

Just out of curiosity, if you are correct in saying that all the members and staff on the site are no longer around due to this pandemic or other reasons, why not just start up a new forum entirely from the ground up rather then taking over one with no members or staff if what you are saying is true? Starting a new website would be the same as starting this one back up.

I lied to get myself unbanned and then modded myself. I came here pretending to be that webmaster just so you can help me.

Are you saying that this isn't true and that the website is simply inactive due to nobody accessing it anymore? Claiming people aren't around due to losing their lives due to the pandemic without proof won't truly speed up this process as it seems more suspicious then anything but that is my own thoughts on this matter. But as I said, why not just start a new website with a similar name rather then trying to take over an inactive website?
