In progress E-mail notifications "You Might Like" section

Post by MareG December 16th 2020, 9:49 pm

    Hello! I made this topic - https://help.forumotion.com/t158327-e-mail-notifications-template#1100629 - just a year ago.
And someone suggested I should create at least 4 publications to override the random articles in "You May Like" section of the e-mails.
So I did finally to test it out. And it worked! But just after I did it, a new random section popped-up called "You Might Like".

Now, how do I remove this, if possible ? It's even more random than before. Royal Family? Coca-cola? Astronomy? What's the common theme here?

It's already turned off. And my understanding is that Traffic Exchange adds this kind of section to topics. But here I'm talking about e-mails. For example, when a user wants to be notified about new PMs by e-mail.

There is not really an option for this in the AP.   There is one for special content newsletters.

    Hello,

The "You might like" section is an advertising block inserted by the Forumotion service in certain e-mails (automatic newsletter and e-mail notification of a new response from memory).

To not have it, you must deactivate advertising on the forum by activating a package with the removal of ads.

Regarding publications, this is another block that appears under certain conditions. So publications and other content will have no impact on the "You might like" section.
