How to Modify Template ?
Hi,
I recently read that if you buy 500 points that you can modify your template. Well I went ahead and bought 500 points but when I go to the points management section there is no option there to modify the template... any ideas ??

Re: How to Modify Template ?
Go to admin panel=>Misc=>Points management=>Configuration and click the "Add" button next to this message "Template editing is disabled.". Then go to admin panel=>Styles=>Templates in order to edit them.

Re: How to Modify Template ?
Is there a tutorial how to edit the template? I've bought the template editing function. But the problem is I'm totally clueless on how to edit the codes.

You see, that's funny to me, you buy the template rights and you have no knowledge about coding templates.asiacitybeat wrote:Is there a tutorial how to edit the template? I've bought the template editing function. But the problem is I'm totally clueless on how to edit the codes.
Why buy it if you have no idea what you're doing?

Re: How to Modify Template ?
I thought it's something which we can drag & place like module. But, it turned out that we actually need certain knowledge in coding...

Re: How to Modify Template ?
The "Points management" step is missing, (because of reorganization of the admin panel?) What are the new steps that enable template editing?Luky wrote:Go to admin panel=>Misc=>Points management=>Configuration and click the "Add" button next to this message "Template editing is disabled.". Re: How to Modify Template ?
feel free to play with it , anyways it gives you "Default template" as a back up . even if you mess things up you can always copy and paste dafault template. as for the rest of you ........ insteag of judging him/her, you'd better help him/her .
what are you trying to do ..... try to explain or maybe post some screenshots with what you are trying to achieve

Re: How to Modify Template ?
But when I edit the template, nothing changes at my forum, even though the admin panel tells me the edits were successful.Sir-Duke wrote:feel free to play with it , anyways it gives you "Default template" as a back up.
I think it's because my template editing is disabled, so again, can you please explain the process, as the "Points Management" step no longer exists.

Re: How to Modify Template ?
Template Editing is pretty much already covered without the need to buy anything. If you need something to spend those points on, try getting a custom site adress.
