    Description of problem

    so i am trying to change the permissions of a group, which means they can't post or reply on any forum

    the options are greyed out, any ideas?

    Hello sorry you can't really stop a member from posting unless you lock the forum it's self.

    Not sure why you would want to stop a member from posting as the main idea of a forum and its member is to post as much as they can to keep your forum active.

    Do you mean user groups, are you meaning to all the members of your forum?

    You will need to set the permissions for each forum/sub-forums.  You will uncheck the boxes that you do not want a certain group to have.
