    started a brand new forum and people are already complaining about this error or code popping up. I'm the only user on it, so I'm not sure how to go about fixing this?

    Exactly the link is not needed.  It sounds like the security option that deals with known spammers.   Check here:  AP > General > Forum > Security
    In the list look for an option that says something about known spam usernames.

    -> Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames. : Select No and save.

    got it! it was waiting for me to approve their accounts rather than doing it automatically.
