Neither search nor advanced search works. How to solve?

Hi,

a few days ago i started a new forum. I want to be able to do advanced searches in the posts that will be written on the forum. So far, I get no results when I search for words I know are written on the forum. Have you others had this problem and how can it be solved?

Please note that you need to have a  Premium account to find words in your posts.



As you can see I have marked on my screen shots what is needed.
So your search will only find words in the topic title's

Yes I test with words that have more than 4 letters.
Enabling advanced search does not appear in the exact location it should be according to the print screen.
Then when I try to change to UTF-8 I do not find "Forum - Pages encoding". Though I might already have UT4-8?

Can you try providing us some links of the search you have done? So that we can also test and see the behaviour of your search page?

Yes, if you can't see the option under the general tab - it means your forum is already in UTF-8 (if it's a new forum, for sure it is)

If this is your forum (https://zhrules.forumotion.eu/) I confirm you it is already in UTF-8

One way to search for words in posts is by using hashtags.  When you click the search button/link in the navbar, you will see a box to check to search for tags.

Examples:

#hashtags
#words

You will need to activate the feature if you do not already have it on.
