How To Keep Text Highlighted

Description of problem

How can I keep text highlighted while changing font size, color, positioning, etc...?
This is what happens now:

1. I highlight the text

2. Changed the size...See how it un-highlights?

3. I have to highlight all again

4. Change color...It un-highlights again

I would like it stay highlighted until I hit "send".

Hello,

If you switch to the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Mode in the post editor, then it will stay highlighted. It is not possible to do in the classic editor because the browser has to insert the bbcode tags so the text changes.

To switch to WYSIWYG mode all you have to is click the button in the editor that looks like a single sheet of paper ( Source Code

). To go back to the 'classic/normal' editor mode, all you have to do is click the same sheet of paper button again.
