Insert a moderator?

Insert a moderator?

How do I insert a member as a moderator without him being able to enter the ADM panel?

I cannot see in the system how I can do this!

So he must not be an editor, because then he can join the ADM panel!

CP > Users & Groups > Groups > Group administration
Create new group. Name it. Put order number to let's say 5. I have like this


Then you go to permissions and select what he can change and what he can not.
DO NOT add him in administrator group.

I think it doesn't matter if he is administrator, he can not enter CP. It's only for forum founder.

no, I don't think so, as I once had an editor deployed, and she could enter the ADM panel and see everything - I would like to avoid this those times with only one moderator!

As I mentioned in post above. Make a new group, limit permissions and add a member. All will be good.

When you first create the forum, there are only 2 groups (admins and moderators)  The only group that has access to the AP is the admins group.   Also only the founder has access to the whole AP.
