Chat will not auto refresh

Description of problem

The chatbox on the forum will not auto refresh. I either have to send a message or to refresh the entire page for the chatbox to update. This is very frustrating of course and makes it hard to maintain a conversation.

I tried switching computer, internet connection, navigator, removing cache and cookies, updating my computer, incognito mode, deactivating any extension on my browsers. Anything I could do on my end as a user was done I believe.

I have attached two screenshot, one of those seems to pinpoint the problem to a fetch command getting cancelled everytime.

Hi @supersam_24 first of all welcome to the English support forum.

Before i report this to our team can you please tell me do you have any JavaScripts running for your chatbox ?

If yes please turn it off and see if the problem is still there.

If the problem is still there i will make a report to our Tech team.

How would I be able to find that out as a user?

Sorry you can't a founder has t come here to do this we can't help basic members on this sort of thing SORRY.

Alright I will ask an admin to come on this thread and validate that info.

So new information. After I created a second account, the chatbox will update on this second account, but not the main account. Still waiting for an admin to come here and give you the information you need, but I'm even more confused now.

Hmm really not sure what is the matter as all account's are the same there should not be any change in account's other then the name and if you have admin/ mods powers or not. when you log in the forum are you accepting the cookies ?

When I look into my browser settings, It tells me that I do accept the cookies of the website.

Okay thank you @supersam_24 we will see what your admin / founder has to say if they come in to the forum and talk to us.

Please note all problem should be reported to your founder / owner of the forum as we don't help basic members as we have no power over basic account's.
