Members Registrations That Are Linked To Porn Sites

Happy New Year everyone

Yesterday I had a registration to my site which is linked to porn sites.
I found this out by doing a name search I decided to ban the user name and email address which was from an Apple iphone.
The same person re-registered today using a non-linked name to porn and used a Yahoo account, I know it's the same person as they used a proper user name on the e-mail account which is the same as the previous e-mail.

Should I accept of reject the registrations

I always do name checks

You can also ban the e- mails and the ips
I would have done the same

As this is your forum you have the right to ban who you want if you think this is the same member and you think they are not safe then you can ban them but sadly we can't really tell you what to do as you are the founder of the forum and you own the rights.

It is really up to you.

For me I would not just trust a google search to be honest a name is just a name and the same name could be used all over the world for thousands of sites not even linked to porn sites or they have been used.

Anyhow the member has logged on this morning using their second account however not posted anything.
I have banned most sexually explicit user names over the years whether it's the user names or the user names to e-mail addresses.

I think we can close this off however I will keep an eye out on this member.
