About PHP modules

I've searched this forum for anything about PHP but found nothing.

Is it possible to make oun PHP modules on my forum? The same as the new possibility with HTML pages. If not, why?

You cannotdirectly install a mod on yur forum.
It's true that at the basis, EditBoards are phbb but it's been massively modified over the years.

For; example... If I'll write a simple PHP script and paste this source code into a HTML page in the Admin Part, where I'm able to make my own HTML page. I just need, that the name of the page ends with .php and not HTML. Or do you think, there are some people, who would be able to destroy your system or to steal the data from your database? I'm programmer, but my favorite languages are C++, JAVA, that's why it's interesting for me a bit. If you don't want, yuo mustn't answer ;o)

May be it will be possible in the future?

A member made a suggestion to add a script section in the admin panel but it was refused by the technicians, probably for security reason so I think it won't but possible to add your own scripts in the forum
