Registering problems

OK I told my friends to register on my forum they said they did but on the list of registered users their not there.PLease help me identify the problem.

Have they activated their accounts yet?

Hello.

As long as their account is not activated, they will appear only in the Admin Panel > User Admin > Inactive users.

If the account activation is set to Users in Admin Panel > Configuration, your friend has to activate his account by clicking on a link in an email he must have received. If he doesn't see it in the inbox, he must look in the spam mail folder, it's frequent with hotmail and aol addresses.

ok but is there a way to activate their account for them?

yes. go to admin panel > user admin > "Inactive Users" then check next to their name and click "activate"
