Donations? Empty Donations?

Hi,
I looked through so many old posts to see if i could find the answer... but i still have a question. I'm not sure if this is the correct room, sorry if it's not.

I have enabled the donations on my site. Do i need to do more?
If people donate as it is, does it automatically add credits to my site?
Or do i have to have my own pay pal?
