How do i Get people....???

Hi everyone my name is claude i have a forum called Nebulator... Its a forum for keen beginners and amateur astronomers.. I was wondering how do i generate people to join my forum or get people to see the forum... I was told that everyone can see the forum but how do i know that it is showing along the World Wide Web.(WWW)

I just like to get to those beginners and amateurs who would like to talk about astronomy and have enjoyment in doing so and even posting some images..

So if anyone knows how to get members to join or just see the forum would be glad to know hoe to..

Find some forums that are similar to yours and advertise it there if their rules permit.

You can add a link to your forum on this Board by going to your profile.

Have you tried Yahoo! Answers? They have an astronomy category there.

Submit your forum to search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, MSN, etc.

Create a professional looking forum with a description of what your forum aims to achieve at the top of your forum

Get your friends and family to join and ask them to inform people that know about your forum

Create lots of accounts on your forum and use them to make your forum look busy. Ask questions then answer them with a different account.

Have a tidy, organized forum. Nobody likes getting lost in a forum.

Hey i got a problem aswell in forums right you have a main topics right how do i get a category inside the topic to show up... here is the forum http://sportsdepot.forumotion.com in annoucement there should be a topic called general conversation but its not showing... how do i get it showing up..????

goto; admin > forum > find the forum you want to configure then click the permission button its just beside the red x mark...
