music in homepage

how can i put a music on my homepage? anyone?

you need a direct link so try to download it on www.archive.org
then take the direct link put it instead of the stars in this code

OR...

Use www.singingbox.org and then you will be able to add any song they want because singingbox has tons of music to add, of coarse members will not be able to add their own music, but you can make an Music request so that members will be able to tell you what kind of music they want.

don't u think it's kinda complicated? can you be a little more specific,please?
for example is there a way to add an mp3 that is on my pc but not online as a background music?

You cannot link to your own PC - you must have the file/s hosted at a file sharing site or your own hosting package.

As an aside - many people (myself included) STRONGLY object to music being dumped on us. It's a drain on bandwidth and is annoying to many. The exception would be if you incorporate a music player that a visitor can choose to run or NOT run as he/she pleases. Personally - if I go to a page that starts playing music - I'm gone, never to return.

When I go to a site with music, I stay. I do that because the admin must have some knowladge of code to do it.

As I said, "PERSONALLY,..." If you think I'm alone in that you need to think hard. I've been designing websites since the late 90's, and I assure you I know what I'm talking about.
