gwBB Code

Need some help, the gwBB code version installed on the forum is 1.8.0, there is a new version 1.8.2

I need to get this version to work on the forum.
I'm not rly up on this stuff, i dont know if i have to do this or you?

we can't install phbb scripts here yet.

Yes the forum template i used has gwbb 1.8.0 working on it, it came like that. It was the main reason for me choosing the forum, my group are RPG Gamers, and need gw code to post character and team builds.

Wow It is a Forumotion site but don't ever recall those bb codes being added.

I can't see the codes as you site is blocked to guests but only a couple forums.

I'm sorry, im a bit site illiterate when it comes to tags, codes templates, i have no idea what that means, i made the pvp section so u can read/write, thats where i been using the code. I dont know if i have to modify the template, if the code is there, or if some 1 else has to. i'm a bit scared to do things incase i stuff evrything up.

That must be a wow version of bb code, i havnt seen it b4, maybe there's dosn't do builds, just those tags, it looks like the same thing though. I dont play wow.

Sorry I dont understand how you have those bbcodes on your site. Trying to figure out where they would be on this site.

when i post a build i just type the code into the post, but the gwbb code has to be installed somewhere before it will work, or my code will just show up as text. So i'm using gwbb code, that is already installed. But i have no idea where or how. my first post this thread has a link that has info, but it confuses me.

I'm guessing if the code works here, it prob works on all your sites, which suggests that you have it installed somewhere.

ya I was looking at that link and it is scripted wow just noticed that it is bbcode.

Just wondering if you guys found out anything usefull, and just so you know, the gwbb refers to Guild Wars bb code, what you showed me in the link was a wow version of bb code. My group plays Guild wars and needs that version updated.

No, unfortunately I can't help here much, Kilsek. The version of the gwBBC can only be updated by the Technicians for all forums to my knowledge. But I don't know when or if that will happen.

Well, who are the technicians, are you not able to ask them? you must have contact details for them, for when things go wrong. From what I have read, it should be a simple proceedure for someone with a bit of technical knowlege, and should be no problem for them.
Its just an upgrade, and iv'e provided a link with step by step instructions, I need a site that supports 1.8.1 or 1.8.2. and this site has everything else. I realy want to keep it

I can wait a while, if I know it's going to happen some time in the near future. I wanna get credits, change the template, but it's no use if I can't get the code.
