new update

there nothing that i would use on it, punbb look abit wired to me.

i really want some new option for phpbb 3

I love the new forum layout. I find it really easy to navigate and all. I love the Statistics in the Users & Groups section the best.

I recently talked to Typlo about it and s/he said it has been a long time coming, but the Forumotion Team are pleased to have it finished are they are really happy about it.

i'm not happy about it at all i wich the tech fix these problems i'm having before doing things like this

1)i would like them looking into members editing there own profile because i got 40 odd users that cant change there profile.
2)fixing the icons for topics lay out problem.
3) adding something that we all can use on our forum.

when they got these things sorted then start doing things like this

Revert back to the old phpBB you were originally using, until help topics have been created about punBB. That's what I am going to do. I know nothing about punBB, so I will wait until others who have problems share their resolutions as I don't want to be stuck in a forum, with nothing to do, and no-one can help me.

i haven't change to punbb i had a quick look at it i thought NO way i'm not using that,

i have tried punbb but just made my page into a basic soo i revert it to the way it was, i still like the pbb2 hehe but i found new better function on the new widget... anyway whats the different on pubb?

I love all the new updates, but I wil not be using punBB. Looks way different than what I am used to . I am using the widgits to the full extent tho!

They simply just updated forumotion to do what phbb2 and three could do. Nothing really major. (although it probably was as Forumotion is a different style of PHBB)

We could already have the side bar if you could edit your templates.

The punbb is I dont know-not needed.

I am happy that those that didnt have template editing can now have the side bar so cheers to you!

The drag and drop feature is cool.

Why no template editing for version 3? or any other suggestions that have been given?

I see one suggestion and thats it. Oh and we got yet another Admin panel update-but that one is real good!

I think that given folks the ability to edit version 3 templates and other mods would be better.

After looking at it all I give it a eh vote. rating of 5 of 10.

ahh, I say a 4.5/10, it makes the board look cramped.

although updates on admin panel is realy scrretchy but as you all notice it was only made to make the admin panel organize since here a the forumotion most
questions are kept repeated all over and over so if the admin panel become more oraginze this will help lessen the problems, all we need now is to get use of the new one at least there new

I hope, but now there will be more questions on how to navigate the new admin panel.

cant use bbcodes with this forum goes funny

widget just dont go wtih phpbb3 it will be to confuzing for people who not very good with forums and it could put off people joining your forum that IMO

Im sticking with version 3. Don't mind the new admin panel, think the widget thing is a bit unnecessary, and its not as user friendly as the one before.

ya, I don't think that this update will appeal to the eye. I am not using it on my board.

I want to move a topic down to the bottom,
so I click on the DOWN button, and it just
goes back to BLANK PAGE, and doesn't move
the topic......gahh

and ovcorse most will complain on first but as sooner youll get to use in it...
but for our own convinience forumotion still provided some optional button the only concern most was the portal so here the new portal config to take note with hope it help

that not new, widget is the new thing where you can merge your portal thing to your forum

I like it. It's really nice to have a bit of a change.

I agree with spook that i dont like punbb.the new update for the panel and this forum is good but not punbb.

pun just needs more features.
