Hi all,

Im the admin of http://Deshirhymes.virtuaboard.com and i just updated the forum from PhpBB2 to PunBB... everything looks great... But I have two problems...

1) If you go to my index page, you'll notice that none of the forum names appear properly...
For example, the Forum 'Sit back and chit chat' appears as 'back and chit chat'.. like the first 3 letters of every forum title is gone...

2) I want the Avatars and everything on the Left instead of being on the Right.. [SOLVED]

I'd appreciate it if any of you could give me a helping hand with this.. Thank you very much.

- Raf

Forum Title and Avatar problem Snapsh10

As you can see from the image, my forum titles show up as 'Back & Chit Chat' and '& Hip-Hop 101'....
those should display as 'Sit Back & Chit Chat' and 'Rap & Hip Hop 101'...

Don't know what to do about it to fix that... thanks in advance for any help...

you could try using the default punbb theme, then modifying it back to your black one, that may work, or hang on in there till any bugs are fixed Smile punbb is really nice isnt it, very clear layout.

it isnt just your titles, your buttons are covering the first part of the and the first line below the titles.
I think it is the buttons that need moving. Sorry dont know how to do it.

Try this in your CSS box.

Code:
.icon {
background-position: left !important;
}

I don't like it. I am going to wait a while before I use it so people can point out all the bugs and things and hopefully fix them. I wish luck to all you people who are using it now!

yup i agree, but it doesnt need to come to advantages, personal preference is more the thing with styles and versions. They are both as user friendly as each other. I just happen to think punbb looks more clean cut.
