The buffer for the messages in the chat is to small

I use a russian language, that's why I can't write more than 36 letters in one message in the chat. The letters which comes after will not be cut. Is it possible to make the buffer larger? Before the last update, i was better ;o)
Tha chat is working much better now, but the messages become shorter ;o(
