Do you have Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer?
I have Mozilla Firefox and find it much faster and easier than Internet Explorer.

If you talk about websites' graphics : Maybe the websites who are badly displayed under FF are badly coded (coded according to IE), or are coded with Frontpage who's the worst HTML editor because it uses nonstandard code (like VML) who's only IE compatible.
IE7 still implements CSS2 poorly and has the bad habit to switch to Quirks mode (displaying pages as an old-coded Web page) when a comment is inserted before the Doctype line. See the examples with IE7 : Without comment before Doctype line | With comment before Doctype line You will see that the block centering and the rollover assigned to a non-link element don't work in the second link under IE7.
It's even worse with IE6 since these features don't work at all, and it doesn't manage the PNG24 transparency.
