You can simply copy and paste the code into a post. However, check the following things:

• "Allow HTML" in "Users & Groups / User Options" must be activated.
  
• "Always Allow HTML" in your own "Profile / Preferences" must be activated.
  
• the WYSIWYG mode should be disabled before pasting the code into the reply box (this icon should not be highlighted with red - click to change).
  
• If you are editing an old post, be sure that "Disallow HTML in this post" is not checked in the options below the text editor.
