can i do in my tempelate to create new post button...

i need this because any time i forgot when is this button link....!

No - you don't need a template. Once you make or get new buttons you want, just upload them from your computer to your gallery and use the pics management console to put them on your forum.

Really, the only way to make your own buttons is to buy a program like Paint Shopt Pro or better yet Xara Webstyle. But spending $50-$100 US just to make buttons doesn't make sense.

when i go to gallery : Templates management" option has expired.

You are not allowed to modify templates.
To enable this option again, go to the Credits management panel.

Your templates are still used. If you wish to restore default templates, click on the link below.
Be careful: your templates will be erased !

Only templates of the phpbb2 version will be affected....

That is incorrect - he needs advanced mode so he can upload his saved buttons to his forum.

When you use one of those online button makers you have to download it to your system - they don't host it for you. In simple mode he needs to enter a URL. To do that he would have to take another step and sign up for photobucket or one of the other hosts, then upload his buttosn to there so he had a direct URL. Doesn't make sense when he can do it in one step in advanced mode.

You can do that with Simple mode, too.

Not to be argumentative, but no - you can't. Next to "upload a picture" in simple mode, all you have is a box to enter a URL, like I said. You STILL have to have the image at another location to link to - not your own system.

Actually - I think that the URL option opens a whole can of worms and can encourage people to hotlink to someone else's site to steal and image and bandwidth. If I was a principal of Forumotion - I'd dump that option immediately. I've had people try to steal my images via a hotlink to one of my websites or forums before. I wrote a new htaccess file that prevents it. Stealing copyrighted material and bandwidth is serious business.
