I can't PM a Member of Mine!

A new member Joined my Forum, Called "Smilie♥"

Their username Actually Showed up in the Forum as "Smile♥"

I don't know why....Does anyone?


But when I click the Button to PM Them in their Profile, I get this when trying to submit:



Why is it saying a Member of my forum does not exsist????!

Does the member have any special text in their username, such as ☺♣☻♥♦?
Because sometimes the text appears to be in numbers rather than the special text

Yes, Like I said they're username is "Smile♥"

But I tried PMing them using both "Smine♥"
and the one using the Smile#****


Either way, it doesn't work.


Maybe a Tech Issue too...because in the forum, their username doesn't appear Smile "♥" , Which is an Error

A user had the ♥ in their username, but it ended up with words and numbers like your problem, so i think you should change the members username to regular numbers and letters

Ok, I changed their username to "Smile<3" and it worked.


But I'd like to know why it tells me the User doesn't exist when I try to PM someone with ♥ in their Username.

I didn't remember reading anywhere that on a forumotion you can't have things like ♥☻♣ in your Username....so I'm just wondering
