The Chat Box HTML Code Problem

Hmm... I've just created a forum...
And I really don't want to use the chat box that this website provide.
Is really awful, and it has like a 10 second delay before showing up any message.
So I thought of getting a chat box from other companies, etc.
So I did, I got all their codes and stuff and created my chatbox.
I copy the code in, and went to my forums, then open new topic, then put the codes in.
I preview it, and it look just like a chat box! Perfect, everything work out great.
Except... that when somebody come along, look at the topic, is not a chat box, is just a bunch of codes.
Only I can see the chat box, other people can't !!!
What happen?!

I enable HTML, BBCodes, and Smiles, they are all on.
But other people cannot see the chat box.
Why is that?

One of my friend say something about the code has to be a certain number of letters, etc.
But, I can still see it, but my friends can't, just a bunch of codes.
Why that?

Also, is it possible to post the new chat box on top of the forums instead of in the forums?
And even at the beginning of the portal?

But first, how u solve this code?

Try Putting the Chatbox in a Space in your Portal.

I once tried to put one in a Thread IN my Forum, and Some users had the same problem of only seeing a load of Code, rather than a Chatbox

No, am using Chatango Chatbox.

Is quite good though.
XAT looks more for myspace, not for like real website, etc.
How you put chatbox in a space in your portal?

If you make an HTML Page, paste the Chat there, and you can create a Nav Button for it and it can say "Chatbox".

Then anyone who clicks it would be taken to the Chatbox page.

Go to Modules => Portal => Structure

Then just create a block for the Portal, paste the HTML of the Chat in there, and its in your portal

Yah, i've created another link for my chat box
But people hate it when they do that.
So am trying to find a way to post it on to the forums.
Or on the portal and the forums.

You can Disguise a HTML Page (using a Nav link button) as another "Section" , and it will work the same

No, I don't think you can Remove the FAQ.
