Can I create a note box on profile pages?

Hello again (:
I want to create a note box on profile pages. I know that I didn't explaint it very well, here a picture of it:



It is so cool... I want to create it. Can I?

On most forums if you are an admin, Moderator or have those priviligies you can add comments to a users profile



Is this what you mean?

Unfortunately; it isn't. I mean... Uhm... It is a box under the profile name which you can write something... Not personalized profile, the note place is under the name. (:

* But if i can add comments, I want this feature too. thanks for all answers

Ahh so sort of like if people want to drop in and say "Hey" then it appears on your profile however its located under the name?!

You might have to add this to the suggestions section, you would need access to the templates to do that, just using the CSS wouldn't achieve it

Uhm... thanks for it then. But... Can I add comments, like you mentioned? Cause in my forum, if someone write something to a member's comments page, another member can erase it.

Well that should be, hmmmm

Nope, they shouldn't be able to add, edit, remove or anything else to those comments that are added to a users personal profile, It is meant for admin reasons only. It might be a glitch or the users have the wrong type of access. Too many privilege's for the standard user

If you create a comments section like you want so anyone can add a comment then they will be able to add but not erase the comments

Well normally the comments section would need an HTML section and CSS section which is why its probably easier to get forumotion to pass the idea lol

We would literally have to edit the profile template pages which might alter the profiles on each post on the forum itself.

I'll have a look into some codes just now and post back a rough idea of what you would need to use to get this working

Ok i have had a look into this,
Now the problem with one of us trying to do this, one of us being not forumotion tech staff lol is that we would need to change the HTML directly and update the database so that when the user updates the note/message/comment it will update only on there side, everyone will see it but won't be able to alter it.

Long to short - Its not possible on forumotion just using CSS and template editing.
