I Saw Some People are still making cartoon designs

Good one, I just don't like the choppiness on the outside. Try feathering it.

Before i was trained as a programmer i was designer but that was a couple of years ago now lol

I normally base around stuff i like and normally i like them simple and clean lol

Nope, he's picked out the background and removed it rather than rendering the edges smooth. It will look alright until uploaded then you'll see all the edges....
However its not too bad

I am more "spiritual" and "free thinking" with my sigs. Meaning I don't tend to stick to renders or even solid images. Here's a few examples of sigs I made a while back:
