How to edit it- It says all is disallowed- How to change it to all is allowed??? I have no bots on my site- help!!

thumleft nice question! I have the same problem... i have 14 links that robot.txt is disallowed!!!

i'm not sure if i'm understanding correctly?
but if it's bots as in google or yahoo bots.you can either select show bots or do not show bots

but they can only get into and gather info on forums/boards that you allow guest.
if you have to be a registered member to view boards then they cant get in there.
at least that's what i was tols long agao. see on my paid phppb forum i have the option to not allow them to even come onto the site or i can let them in any board that i wish/ i'm actually surprised forumotion dose not have this option. Sad

if that's not what you were asking my apologies.

Did anyone ever get this issue sorted out ? I have 66 that are restricted I started with 36 ? then it went to 44 and now its 66 all in about 4 days which is when I registered with Google so if any of you did get this sorted can you share it

Hello,

I think you all are facing same problem as netsniper.
You are not able to edit the robots.txt file since it resides on server where you can't get access.

You can refer this thread for more info though it is no going to help you sort out this problem.
