Solved Technical Difficulties with Portal

Post by Pinkie_Poof July 23rd 2008, 9:20 pm

I have been having a lot of trouble with my Portal. I have been trying to make it, and add widgets, but the widgets do not show up. I make sure i save, and in the Administration Panel it says that they are on the Portal. When i view the portal, the widgets are either not there, they are doubled, or in wrong spots. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Are you sure you have added this to the portal, and not to the forum widgets? The proper path in the admin panel is "Modules / Portal Management / Structure". Also make sure that you have added this to the currently active portal page in case you have more than one. The currently active portal is displayed in bold in "modueles / portal management".

Another thing to check would be that all columns have a width above 0 - go to the structure page again and check if columns 1-3 have all a proper width. Also, have the permissions been set correctly? Click Technical Difficulties with Portal Perms of an already added widget to define who is able to see this block.

Also try to refresh the portal page with Ctrl+F5.

If you are still having problems, you should probably take a screenshot from the portal structure page. Smile
