expandable/collapsable content Empty expandable/collapsable content

Post by cclloyd9785 August 3rd 2008, 12:09 am

on my site i have a expandable/collapsable content area for a chatbox thats attached to it.

Code:

<center>
<table border="0">
<tr>
<td valign=toponmouseover = "this.style.cursor = 'pointer'"
onmouseout = "this.style.cursor = 'normal'"

onClick='this.parentNode.nextSibling.style.display = (this.parentNode.nextSibling.style.display == "none") ? "" : "none";'>

<span style="color:#9fd33a">
<span style="font-size: 13px; line-height: normal">
<span style="background: #000000; ">
<span style="cursor:pointer">
<b>
<center>
Members Only Clan War Portal Chatbox (Click Here)
</center>
</b>
</span>
</span>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<embed src="http://www.xatech.com/web_gear/chat/chat.swf" quality="high" width="630" height="405" name="chat" FlashVars="id=31673380" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://xat.com/update_flash.shtml" />
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</center>

thats the code for it but every time i open teh page... it shows up expanded and visible. wat should change on it to make it collapsed by default. tell me wat to change it to.

EDIT:
i dont need a header for this but i do want another one like this that requires a header on my portal. where would i put that on my portal to make it work. it wont let me put it on the same block so idk where it goes. plz.

the table not shown

<table border="0">

hm but in my browser thats on top.
then for what you used table code?why you not just put with div tag?
thats would be simple and easier.
and what you want make collapsible?the table or the alignment table?more specific.
