Is there a way to disable the users' ages in their posts?

(I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum; I'm kinda new here. If it isn't, can a mod move it, please)

My site is supposed to be G-rated, so I don't want the users to display their age, as it gives away personal information. I can't tell them not to, because nine tenths of them will ignore me.

So, is there a way? If so, can you tell me? Crying or Very sad

Can't you go into profile management and just take that off?(you'd have to take off the whole age thing tho

ok here is a way to stop it go to your admin page and then go to Users & Groups then go to Profiles in the drop down list on the left of your page your see this

see where it says birthday leave that blank and when a new chatter makes a account it will not ask for the age then send a pm to your members of your site to leave that bit blank when doing there profiles this is the only way i can see to stop that, then if you have some members that do have there age in there profile then go in and take it off for them but i think they have the right to have there age on there if they want it and if not then just go in to there profiels and take it off here is a screen shot of a memeber i just made and the age is not on there Very Happy
