HTML Problem

i want to add something to a certain post of my forum but all that comes up is the code. i checked the bubble that said allow HTML and when i press preview on my post the html item comes up. how do i get it to come up on the post too?

I believe you want to click the [A/A] button, but I'm not sure what you're really asking. Try that, otherwise, I've got NO IDEA what your problem is (no insult intended)

i want to add a little chat box from chatango with its html code and when i press preview after putting the code in it shows the box but when i press post only the code shows up. i have html turned on but it still doesnt work.

I believe you mean, you tried inserting that code into a post, to add a little chatbox, it showed up in the preview, but not when you posted it, right?

Edit: I just tried it. When I posted, only links to the chat itself showed up, not the actual chat, I cant imagine why.

Yeah...I dont think you can either. I've tried posting a shoutbox, while having html on in a post, that didn't work either. You could always put the chat in a homepage message, that works.

No, it should definately work. Try to disable the WYSIWYG mode by default in your profile / preferences before writing the post. In case you edit an old post, be sure "Disable HTML in this post" is not checked in the Options below the post edit-box.
