mod only section

hi,

Is it possible for me to have a private section on my forum for mods only?

any help appreciated.

Yes, I've done so on my forum. Make a new forum and in the permissions tab make "can post" or "can reply" mods only. Or, if you don't want non-mod members to even SEE the forum, uncheck the can view box on everyone except the mods.

Ok:

Admin Panel
General
Forum
Catergaries and Forums
Create a new forum
Enter the name etc and press ok
Then you will get a screen with permissions
In the top bars unselect members: View and read and Write and reply
Then selct moderator and administrator underneath.

And there's your hidden forum

When setting the permissions for your MOD area make sure to click "advanced" on the permissions. That made it a lot easier for me to hide it that way.

oops I've hidden it too much! I can see it but my other mod can't!

I cant really explain it further than anyone else has, but here's a screenshot of the permissions on my mod forum.
