Forum Owership.

Hia,

Im sorry if this is in the wront place but i cant a right place to put this.

I am an admin on a forum called MeePlace and the founder of the forum is not active and i have tryed contacting him lots of time but there is no reply.

The forum has been very inactive and i would like to change the skin and get the forum ative again.

I dont know weather you can do this but i would like to be changed as the founder and then i can have access to founder controls.

There have been a few people that asked the same question. It is possible to have ownership transferred but you have to get it from the founder him/her self since they have to change the e mail account its registered too and either give you the password or change it for yours.

Why would you need access to the founder controls to change the skin, unless you're planning on dleting the forum or buying credits there is no difference.

You cant cahnge the skin unless you are the forum founder.

The only way for you to become the founder is if the founder himself gives you the username and password. Other than that, there is no way for you to alter the skin.

Ill get a comformation from a mod or admin so see if theres any other way of changing the skin from hitskin. Becuase changing the skin from the admin panel dosnt work.

Scamite is correct Beno, only the founder can change the theme via the admin panel or Hitskin. I know this first hand because Luky created me a test forum to work on themes together and I was not able to access those controls without him.
