Who's Online Chatbox widget

basically what i am trying to do is make a widget that shows who is logged in the chatbox. just like at the bottom of the index forum in the who's online table. i have been messing around with source codes for hours but i cant seem to get it right.

any ideas?

Wish I could help. This is something I've wanted on my forum for a long time as well. Hopefully someone has some good info for us.

thats what the chatbox widget should be... i mean who wants the full chat room in a 180 px wide window??

the only way i could find is the following:
make the width 180px, and add the chatbox to the widgets column, if the chatbox was a personal widget (using the source code after figuring it out) this won't work, use the already existing widget, what you'll get is the who's online list only, in addition to the buttons, the rest won't be viewd

you can send a newsletter telling the members if they want to use the chatbox just press on the word: CHATBOX

plz if anyone knows the code tell us, this is not enough, it's just a temporary solution
