There is text next to the topic title that says "You have posted in this topic". It started appearing yesterday I'm finding it very annoying!

Have I mistakenly changed something in the admin panel or is this something else?

the participation icon might be faulty, or it got deleted.

go to admin panel-> display-> pic management -> advanced mode -> mini icons -> participation button.

add a new one or replace the old one

I have the same problem with "You have posted in this topic" appearing before every topic title. I have tried jalokim's suggestion. Nothing seems to work. The default https://2img.net/i/fa/empty.gif was in the the URL icon box when I went to my Admin panel, and I have changed nothing in the days before this happened. However, I did update the Mozilla browser. Could there be a conflict with that browser? Any other suggestions?

no there seems to be a problem with something ... mozilla is working perfect but chrome and IE are having problems lately.

I am using phpBB2 (subsilver). I put in a search for "double buttons" here and read in another thread about how to solve this problem. I substituted another "blank" picture link in the admin panel beside the Inbox, Sentbox, Outbox, and Savebox in the private message area. This solved my problem. Thanks!
