Solved E-Mail already in use?

Post by Destroyer895 September 6th 2008, 7:25 pm

Hello,

I'm new to the whole Forumotion thing, so this might be a n00by question. When I created a forum about a day ago, and a buddy tried to register, it said his email was already in use, when I know for a fact it wasn't, since I was the only member at the time.

Could anyone help? Let me know if you need more info.

If he has tried to register already or got half way through the process and never receieved a confirmation email the his email address will have registered on the forum but not as an active one

1. Log into your forum

2. Navigate to

Admin Panel\Users & Usergroups\Inactive Users (On the left hand side)

3. Check his email address and select "Activate"

He should now be able to log in alternatively select "Delete" and he should be able to re-register

Regards
