Forum: Can Users Leave There Email Address?

Is there a setting within my forum that would allow users to add their email address and/or website address to there post? Esp. email address. Is there an option somewhere that would allow them to do this and if so, how can I get that to show up in my forum?

Hi Sureword, Well if your members decided they would like to share that information with other members , it is possible to add their email addresses and websites from within their user profile options by going to the Nav bar and clicking on Profile and entering the chosen information then save. That will allow others to see that information in all of their posts.

Okay I understand. Is there also a way they can leave an email address in my forum if they are an unregistered user?

Is there a way UNREGISTERED users can leave their email address in my forum?

Well if you allow unregistered users to post on your forum, they will not have the profile options, but they can post their email addresses in say a topic created for that purpose , I guess. But it may lead to unnecessary spamming I think really.
