I think it would have to be making the forums, getting to be able to call them whatever you want. thats the best

I like personalising it.
being able to make it how I want it to look, and also getting the members to have an input into how it looks and how it works, private groups, the lot. Not many forums offer members to suggest things and then 95% of the time, it's implemented, so I love being able to give the members what they want most of the time, and seeing them so happy about it, and feeling so welcomed and respected and wanted there because of it

I think the best part of making a forum is changing the skins around, and customizing it, like Punkarella said.

I like the fact that it's mine lol and i can make grphics and show them off

To add on to this, I also like how big you can make your avatars (Maximum of 150x200) and they automatically shrink when it's bigger than this limit.

the best part is helping people and accomplishing the purpose that you created the forum for.
