chosen theme

the chosen settings for my display are cool and I really like them but, I was wondering how to change the white background color on my theme to an opaque one so it's still there but you can see through it? Is it possible? I saw a background color thing and it said it was set to white and it looked as if all of the different colors would require different codes. If there is one for and opaques background could you tell me?

Do you mean a transparent background?

no, the theme I chose is the red one that is sort of a traditional one and I put in my own background picture. I want to be able to see the background better so I am asking for help to make the theme's white background transparent enough to see the page background. Apparently there is a code you can put into the bar on the settings part but I can't find the correct color code for transparent ones. If you have a suggestion, be my guest and post it!

Unfortunately, that is too advanced for me. I wonder if a site admin would help me fix my problem? otherwise, I can't make my site look any good.
