Moving topics up and down in the same forum

Is it possible to move topics and threads up and down whilst keeping them in the same forum? When I click the move button, it asks me to which forum I want to move it. I need to keep it in the same forum, but my topic needs to be moved downwards.

Yes, but you have to post in each one that you want brought up.

I have posted in each one. I still can't move them.

You can't manually move threads within a forum, however, you can change the sorting method. Go to "General / Categories and Forums" and click the respective forum. You will find several sorting options in the dropdown menu "Sort topics by".

Thanks. Unfortunately, the drop down menu for the sorting options doesn't solve my problem, as my topics are arranged as a filmography (see http://sirbenkingsley.forumotion.com/the-films-f6/). I'll find some other way!
