removing/forum.htm from main forum page?

is there a way that i can make the main forum page url.com without having it like url.com/forum.html

I don't think so, because thats the link to your forum, and its html pages.

The /forum.htm isn't always there

If you have selected the homepage from your forum navbar or selected the logo which takes you home then it redirects to the index page however it will still show /forum.htm

This cannot be removed

i wish we could change the link for the banner redirect. i made a button to redirect to the forums home page minus the forum.htm and its working fine for now.
