I saw this in another topic and it got locked and I'm confused-

Are we allowed to have advertisements to other sites, not from the Admin panel- Just like for example, from another forum for affiliate reasons, or banner exchange, or just because we ant to???

if you mean you want to advertise other sites on (YOUR FOURM).
sure you can allow members or do it your self.you can advertise basically what ever you want?

just be sure that you are not advertising anything illegal or anything leading porn sites.
other then that. as long as it's a legal and legitimate sites. such as blogs other forums myspace etc.. then yes if you want to allow it on your forum can
but dont do it here!!! lol only formotion forums are allowed to be advertised here.

also keep in mind. that the way forumotion explains how to promote/advertise other sites. is only a suggestion on there part. you do not have to do it that way but most people adopt that method.. me i dont care. i have a board for that and members can advertise how ever they want.. just no porn or illegal sites.

They aren't illegal or all that bad stuff, so I can advertise then? Ok, thanks.
