Help on posting topics

I made this forum and my firend tried to post a topic but she says that the forum says that only admins can post a topic. How can i change so that all members can post a topic?? thanks!

in General configuration
go to Categories and forums.
Click on Forum permissions control.
you need to click on each forum that you want to change.
tick who you want to be able to post ei "members" don't forget to click save button.
